BARKER, NY: Black Bird Cider Works - Please join us on Sunday October 24, 2021 for a great new FALL trail race at Black Bird Cider Works! The race is being brought to you by iRun WNY. All participants who register by October 15th are guaranteed to receive a BlackBird Cider Works shirt! Extra shirts will be distributed on a first-come first serve basis and those who do not receive a shirt will receive a free keepsake glass and complimentary glass of delicious Blackbird cider.
START/FINISH
This unique 5K trail run will start and finish at Black Bird Cidery in Barker, New York entirely on cidery property. We have designed a beautiful 3 loop course through the orchards and groomed property trails. There will be one water station located at the split and bottled water and light snacks will be provided to participants at the finish line.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUPOnline registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup will take place out in front of the cidery from 1:30 pm right up until the start of the race at 3:00 pm. Your registration fee includes a custom race shirt (must register by October 18th), post race snacks at the finish line, music, and more! There will be plenty of free parking available on Black Bird property (grass parking) and along the roadway.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Hand crafted trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers. Age group gifts will be presented and all participants will be able to print out custom finisher certificates and share finish line photos after the race from the results page.
Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
*Race organizers may expand the age groups based on final registration numbers

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc), we want runners to know up front that we are planning to convert this to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
